Why Just One Carrot?

My father was an infant during WW2. His father was abroad in the services.

It was during this time that the family home in South London was hit by a doodlebug. My grandmother went to the property to see what could be salvaged:

There was nothing left of the house, she then searched the garden and the only thing left she could find was…

…“JUST ONE CARROT.”

ABOUT

PAUL

Based in Monmouthshire, South Wales, I produce small runs of bespoke Sculptures in cold cast metals and stone based resins.

A level art with Ceramics followed by Art College over 35 years ago was put on hold for a career in Corporate Finance.

Born in the Torres Straights Australia, to a Welsh mother and English father I grew up in the West Highlands of Scotland.

Just one carrot is a nod to my paternal side of the family.

Be kind to each other and be thankful for what we have, we are lucky, others are not so lucky.

Each piece is hand cast and finished which means each is unique. I carried low stock and if not available pieces may be made to order.
